Shani Louk, the tattoo artist declared dead after being kidnapped by HamasRoberto Ortega
One such video saw a half-naked woman on the back of a pickup truck being paraded through the streets face down.
It was not clear from the video whether she was alive or dead, but the fact she was being taken away suggests she was alive and is one of many hostages taken by Hamas.

The kidnapping of Shani Louk
The woman in the video has now been identified as German-Israeli tattoo artist, Shani Louk, who is 30 years old.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Louk had been at an open-air festival in Southern Israel, one which was targeted by Hamas.
Louk’s cousin has since spoken to the Wall Street Journal about the situation and how they managed to work out that it was their family member in the video.
“We recognized her by the tattoos, and she has long dreadlocks,” Louk’s cousin said.
