Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Fight Not for Rp1.2 Trillion
The £60m Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight isn't for the money but for a specific reason why Iron Mike accepted the controversial fight. The heavyweight will return to the ring on November 15 for a controversial showdown against boxer-turned-YouTuber Jake Paul. It will mark Netflix's first foray into live boxing with the pair set to share an $80m (£60m) prize pool. But Tyson - who earned £250m during his superstardom - has said he won't return to boxing because of the payday on offer.
The money from this fight is not going to change my lifestyle. It's not for financial reasons. My life is not going to change, not one percent after this fight, I will always be able to live this way and I only do it because I want to test myself," Mike Tyson said.

Tyson is back for his first professional fight since 2005 - almost 20 years after quitting the boxing ring to beat Kevin McBride. But he will be competing in front of a crowd of almost 80,000 at the Dallas Cowboys NFL stadium. Reflecting on his career, Tyson said: “Boxing has changed so much and I mean, I’ve done it more, and now I’m changing it by doing this fight. “ So I’m part of changing boxing as well. When you think about it, without being egotistical, who else could do this? Just think about it. Go ahead and I’m not trying to jerk myself around, but who else could do this? Nobody, right?” Tyson’s already disappointing comeback faced further scrutiny when he was forced to withdraw from the July 20 date due to health precautions, with Iron Mike suffering from an ulcer in his stomach during a flight - but has since been cleared medically to resume training. Although he will also have to undergo extra heart and brain tests due to his advanced age and both will be subject to drug tests. Amid concerns for his safety, Tyson replied: “I’m fine. I’m very thankful that I’m fine. I’m just looking forward to this fight, looking forward to it.”

But he said that just a fraction of his brilliant best would be enough to beat the 10-1 Paul. “When you think about it, no matter how old I am, this guy’s only got 10 fights. He’s only got 10 fights, if I can fight a little bit with my experience, he’s only got 10 fights, okay? If I can fight 10 percent of what I have, he’s only got 10 fights, he can’t match it.
